Manchester City's next game - and Roberto Mancini's fourth in charge - will now be against Blackburn Rovers at Eastlands on Monday. The club were today forced to close their ticket office and city centre shop due to the adverse conditions.

The first Carling Cup semi-final first leg between Blackburn and Aston Villa was called off earlier today, the hosts saying: "Whilst the Ewood Park pitch is playable we believe it would be unadvisable to expect fans, staff etc to attempt to get to the match. Even if fans are able to get to Ewood Park we would not like to speculate on what type of journey home they may face at 10.00pm tonight when temperatures will be sub-zero."

Meanwhile, Stoke's Premier League game against Fulham tonight will go ahead.

I hope this gets the better out of our team! SAF already has given the hair-dryer treatment and we really need to get better. We did play good football in between, but a defeat to Leeds is not at all digestable. The sheep shaggers should've been thrashed.

Anyways, hoping for a better team work. And we definitely need 1-2 world class players, IMO.

I'm not massively dissapointed that we went out to Leeds, it's the manner in which we went out that makes me sick inside. The lack of effort shown by the players is really concerning and we've suffered far too many times this season because of performances like these. The worrying thing is this hasn't been a one off, this has happened far too many times this season and I hope the players step up and never again show such a gutless performance.


We have a great squad, just need a bit of fine tuning. One great AM and someone stepping up on the left wing will give us back the Man United of the last three years.
